Life or something like it
My bestfriend seems to have done everything he wanted to do in his life. And he's only 25. I'm wondering when I'd be able to say that. I'm guessing NEVER. And it made me think about what I want to do with mine. I want to list everything down but it would take me forever to finish it. If only sleeping isn't necessary I'd stay awake all the days of my life. There's so much to do out there with but so little time. And I'm well aware I could go anytime (knock on wood).
So here's a partial list of my so called Bucket List. Just some things I want to see, feel, touch before I go kaputz.
.) Coffee in an old school cafe in Paris.
.) See the Louvre and take a picture of the famous paintings there.
.) Visit Pope John Paul's tomb in St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican.
.) See the old places in Rome.
.) See the Pyramids in Egypt and the Great Wall of China.
.) Safari trip in Africa.
.) Learn how to cook.
.) Learn 2 foreign language (I'm thinking Mandarin or Niponggo and Spanish--I've always wanted to learn Spanish and Nippongo).
.) Be fluent in Bisaya!
.) Reach my 115 lbs. goal.
.) Walk on a real runway.
.) Visit the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Germany. (I'm obsessed with WWII history)
.) Take a picture with harajuku girls in Japan! And see the cherry blossoms.
.) Name a star. :)
.) Pretend and dress up like a guy for 1 day.
.) Adopt a child and nurture her/him.
.) Record an album (kahit for myself lang!)
.) Learn to expertly play the guitar.
.) Swim with Dolphins.
.) Celebrate New Year in Times Square!
.) Ride on a death defying rollercoaster!
.) Complete a Christmas Village.
.) Get an MBA.
.) Get an article published on a newspaper or magazine.
.) Go to an art gallery and purchase at least 1 painting.
.) Be blessed by the Dalai Lama and/or the Pope.
.) Spend a week at a Silent Retreat.
28. ) Send my parents on their dream vacation (na kasama kami!)
.) Write a letter to the people I love which they can only read after I die.
.) Make my own clothes.
That's it--so far. I know #30 is not the end. I'd keep on editing this as I go along. I'm pretty sure I'd think of something new to do again.
Now I wonder--can one lifetime be ever enough? *Sigh*
