3.  New Kid on the Block: Ray-Ban’s Teens/Youngster Collection

Vibrant. Upbeat. Fresh. Ray-Ban presents its latest sun and prescription collection for the young and young at heart. Featuring more variety, oversized retro shapes, youthful details, and fun, yummy candy colors, the Teens/Youngster collection perfectly caters to the hip, metropolitan trendsetters with very clear tastes and styles. It offers new stylish unisex designs, gradient lenses, and with colors ranging from bright blue, purple, red, and pink. Playing up the idea of re-invented vintage, the collection gives us a whole new different perspective on what it means to be young and timeless.

4. Punchdrunk Panda launches new batch of camera straps!

 

Now, the PdP camera straps are back with a new look! The neck strap has been overhauled by creating a bigger surface area to showcase more of the design, while still using the same neoprene material for cushioning and net foam for some “breathing space”, as with the previous batch. Genuine leather straps are now utilized to connect the camera to the neck strap more securely as well. At the price of PhP 595 each, these camera straps are efficient yet more affordable than other generic-looking straps in the market.

This collection features five (5) new playful designs from illustrator-blogger Rob Cham (Imaginatiooooon), interns-turned-designers Joseph Velasquez (Off to Work and Elyenz) and Pat Manlapas (Etnik), and PdP’s other half Gail Go (Streets of Manila).

The new PdP camera straps are available online at www.punchdrunkpanda.com and at retailers Analog Soul (Trinoma) and Lapdance Bags (Trinoma). PdP items will also be available at the following bazaars: Global Pinoy Bazaar at the Rockwell Tent (Nov. 5-6), Luxe Bazaar at Il Terrazo (Nov. 19), St. James Bazaar at Ayala Alabang Village (Nov. 26-30), and Port 88 Bazaar at Megatent (Dec. 11-12).

Punchdrunk Panda specializes in applying graphic designs on unconventional canvases such as laptop and iPad sleeves, laptop skins, camera straps, and men’s and women’s footwear. But aside from designing functional apparel, the company also envisions the rise of the creative Filipino and is gearing towards organizing and sustaining a community of artists in the country. “VESTITO”, simply meaning “Dress” in Italian, aims to provide the metropolitan woman a place to find classic and highly feminine dresses in the erstwhile saturated market of overly embellished and over-the-top dresses. It aims to make shopping easy for women on a budget. VESTITO, a new home-grown fashion label focusing on "day to night dressing" opened its first retail location at The Ramp at Crossings in Shangri-la last September 15.
