One of the things I really, really I want to do before I die (morbid much? haha) is to travel the world. A few weeks ago, MELISSA took me to Paris, New York, London & Brazil in just over an hour during their 35th anniversary celebration & new collection launch! Armed with my chosen pair of shoes, I hopped on from one place to another (one 3D set to another haha) and relished my surrounding (backdrop) and the sweetness (smell & style) of Melissa. In honor of its 35th year as a truly global fashion icon, Melissa celebrated its milestone year by showcasing its newest collection in a travel-inspired event held at the Atrium of SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City.
Originally produced in 1979 and widely acknowledged as the original “jelly”, Melissa has risen from its humble Brazilian origins to become one of the most celebrated names in international footwear – a force to be reckoned with in the world of fashion.

From its groundbreaking collaborations with legendary British tastemaker Vivienne Westwood, leading luxury style expert Karl Lagerfeld, and cutting-edge Brazilian design duo the Campana Brothers, to the novel creations of the couture world’s latest toast, Jason Wu, Melissa was indeed looking fabulous at 35.

Another highlight of the night, 3D murals of the most captivating sceneries of Paris, London, New York, and Brazil were on display, inviting guests to have their travel-worthy snapshots taken with the hashtag #MelissaConquerstheWorld. 
Now here are photos from the runway show! The event was hosted by Nikki Gil and the show was done with performances by dance champs Philippine All Stars. Here are my favorite looks and shoes that I could see myself wearing!:)
