Singapore will always be one of my favorite countries to visit. I even considered moving there (multiple times until now) and maybe work and just stay there for years. I've fallen in love with SG the first time I step foot in it. I still fall in love with it every time. :) So, what makes Singapore so special and why do I love this place so much? Well, let me count the ways...
1. CHANGI AIRPORT
I could live in Changi airport. It's so big, squeaky clean, it's cozy, they have free internet, fun activities for kids and adult (READ HERE), super organized, nice bathrooms, walkalators, shopping! Just how an airport should be. ;)
2. CHINATOWN
Chinatown is my favorite place in SG because I just love the energy and vibe this place radiates. Chinatown also offers great food and the best souvenir shopping experience! This is also where the Buddha Tooth and Relic temple is located. :)
3. TRAINS or SMRT
They have a super organized and efficient train system! It's also nice that their MRT stations are air-conditioned. It's a nice relief from Singapore's humid and hot weather and makes commuting fun. Almost everything in SG are connected by MRT. :)
4. FOOD!
May it be hawkers (food court) or street food markets, they serve the best food!!! The SG menu is a fusion of different Asian flavors and cuisine. I could live in SG if only for the food. Haha. Definitely a foodie's paradise! Don't forget to drop by Lau Pa Sat to taste the best satays!
5. SHOPPING
They have everything for everyone! There's the famous Orchard road where all the huge malls are. There are also known outlet malls around like Anchorpoint where you could buy super discounted items from Giordano, Typo, Billabong, Cotton On, etc. And there's my favorite BUGIS! Bugis has this Greenhills vibe and you could buy clothes for just P150-300.
6. CHOCOLATES
If you have a sweet tooth, you would go cray-cray over their chocolate stores! The one above is in Lucky Plaza. You could also shop in Mufasa Mall, Little India. I love how I could just buy Nutella & GO! snack from drugstores for just P60-80. Haha.
7. BUSES
Like I said, they have a very nice transport system. Even their buses are well organized. Remember to prepare exact change!
8. FASHION
Singapore may be hot or humid but the people here dress up nicely and are at the forefront of fashion. They have access to different brands and shops, so they have everything here!
9. WALKING
Singapore is one of the safest and cleanest countries in the world. You could walk outside without looking over your shoulder every 5 seconds or without feeling paranoid. Everything is also "walkable" with their interconnected walkways and malls.
10. SKYLINE
Because, look.
11. ATTRACTIONS
(Universal Studios, Madame Tussauds, Merlion, Sentosa, etc)

13. ART
You could walk around and just be mesmerized by different art works you would see along the way. The photos above were taken at Haji Lane!:)
14. ROADS
They have such an efficient traffic system too. You would not die here crossing the street. Haha. Cars actually stop when pedestrians are about to cross. Super nice. :)
