I will be dividing my posts into 3 parts. This post will be dedicated to Cebu Pacific's exciting updates and announcements during our Media Briefing. Without further ado, let's start!

Hub Expansions:

On July 2, 2024, Cebu Pacific announced a landmark deal with Airbus, placing an aircraft order of up to 152 A321neo aircraft amounting to US$24 billion (PHP 1.4 trillion) based on list prices, the largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history.



When finalized by the third quarter of the year, the deal will be a significant milestone for the local airline industry and a testament to CEB’s unwavering commitment to support the Philippine growth story.

Fresh from this deal, CEB continues to expand its network across its key hubs, including Manila, Clark, and Cebu.



CEB will resume its flights from Clark International Airport to Davao, General Santos, Iloilo and Puerto Princesa, as it strengthens connectivity for travelers from north and central Luzon to the Visayas-Mindanao region.



CEB is also set to launch additional routes — from Manila to Kaohsiung, Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, and from Cebu to Masbate, San Vicente, and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.

Systemwide Network Recovery: 113%
Domestic Destinations: 35
International Destinations: 25
DOM and INTL Routes: 97
Weekly Flights as of July 2024: Around 3,000



CEB Receives its 7th Aircraft for 2024:

• Cebu Pacific is set to launch direct flights from Osaka to Cebu, allowing more Japanese travellers to enjoy Cebu’s white sand beaches and try local delicacies.

• Start of Operations: October 15, 2024

• Flight Frequency: 4x weekly (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)

• CEB will be the only airline that offers direct flights between Osaka and Cebu.



Cebu Pacific to Resume Direct Iloilo Flights to Hong Kong

• Cebu Pacific is set to resume direct flights between Iloilo and Hong Kong in October, offering a faster and more affordable way for travellers from the City of Love to visit one of Asia’s popular shopping and foodie paradise.

• Starting October 27, 2024, CEB will operate flights from Iloilo to Hong Kong four times weekly --- every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

• Hong Kong to Iloilo flights will also operate four times weekly - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.



Cebu Pacific to Launch Direct Flights Between Manila and Chiang Mai

• Cebu Pacific continues to expand its international network by introducing direct flights from Manila to Chiang Mai with its signature Piso Sale, allowing Filipino travellers to explore the mountainous region of northern Thailand.

• Starting October 29, 2024, CEB will operate flights from Manila to Chiang Mai three times weekly — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

• Chiang Mai to Manila flights—Chiang Mai will be CEB's fourth rou will also operate three times weekly — Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

• Manila - Chiang Mai will be the fourth route that CEB will operate in Thailand. CEB also flies from Manila and Cebu to Bangkok, with the option of flying to Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Mueang International Airport.

• Seat Sale Period: August 1 to 6, 2024 for as low as PHP 1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges!

• Travel Period: October 29, 2024 to March 30, 2025
